Vontrapping & a whole lot of fun

Hi People,
How was your weekend?
Mine was lovely :)
I spent Saturday just relaxing and finishing off my dress which I am wearing below.

The fabric for this dress was actually a vintage 1970's curtain that cost me £2.99 from a local charity shop. I have decided to call this Vontraping... if you have no idea what I talking about go watch the Sound of Music and you'll know what I mean :)
I have even purchased another curtain for my next project :)

I was so excited when I finished it I decided to wear it on Sunday to the Frock me event at Chelsea Town hall. I met up with Gemma, Anna, Becky & Sundari  we had a little tea and cake then did some browsing of the vintage stalls.

What do you think of my Top hat?

I loved the fact that we all had our welly boots on & of course we did the obligatory feet shot.

I especially loved this one of us on our wall line up :)

I haven't laughed as much as I did yesterday in quite a while, I actually went home with a headache but it was worth it.

The girls are really lovely & I can't wait to meet up again :)

I hope you weekend was as lovely of mine & our week is even better.

Ciao for now

Little Paris Kitchen

Hi People,
How have you been?

I have recently stumbled across the program called the Little Paris Kitchen and I watched the catch ups on iplayer over two evenings.

The Chef Rachel Khoo has her own little restaurant in her tiny Paris apartment.

The show is about her taking "the fear" out of French cooking.
Not only does she have a really cute apartment and a lovely sense of style; she is so much better than Nigella Lawson.... sorry luv but you bug me!

Her recipes are a mix of traditional Parisian cooking as well as her own take on the traditional recipes.
Now I totally could live in Paris, that close to that many patisseries, I would be the size of a house; not to mention the culture, the architecture and the fashion.
I am not too keen how the french like their meat so rare but the amazing deserts she makes are to die for.

So if you are a foodie like me go take a peek by clicking the first picture at the top and if you want to be able to try to make her dishes yourself she also has a book.

I am off to the Frockme event tomorrow,  come join us if you can :)
I am sure a post will follow.
Have a great weekend.

Wedding Planning: Hairstyles

Hi Lovelies,
Sorry for my lack of posts, since handing in my dissertation I have felt really tired. They do say its only when you stop that realize how tired are you.

Anywho now that's done I can start focusing on the planning my wedding which I am sure I have told you about.
So what better place to start than with deciding on a hairstyle, I can't show you what dress I am having as I don't want a certain person seeing before the big day. What I can say is a relaxed hairstyle wedding hairstyle is probably whats needed :)

So here are just a few ideas:

I'd love your feedback to help me decide :)

Ciao for now
