My Hen DO!

Hi All,
Are you having a good day?

So this time last Sunday I was nursing a pretty fun hangover following my Hen night the previous evening.
My lovely sister Sabina & my best friend organized it all as a surprise for me :)
We all had to wear masquerade masks, so I went totally out of my comfort zone & wore a sparkly pink dress with some suede platforms.
We had afternoon tea, with little sarnies cakes and freshly cooked scones. Then came the games including the dares.... hence my mustache in the picture below.

Here is a collection of pictures of the day into night, including a couple of me looking a little merry :)

Thank you to  Sabrina, Cat, Alex, Spec, Ashley, Amy, Emily & Melissa for a really fab night.
P.S Thank you for not breaking my no willies rule :)
P.P.S I can't wait for the wedding :)

Ciao for now

Brought to you by popular demand :)

Hi all,
I do try to do outfit posts but taking pictures everyday is a challenge.

My lovely friend Melissa obliged my request to take pictures of my outfit the other day due to the popular demand that I got from instagram & twitter friends :)
These are iPhone pictures so apologies for the quality not being great.

I was feeling the 50's vibe after reading Solanah's blog I decided to stick some rollers in my hair the evening before.

I did want to have victory rolls but the front of my hair had become too long. So I just clipped the sides back, going to put my layers back on after the wedding.
I decided to wear this lovely reproduction vintage dress I picked up at my local charity shop. I was amazed when I saw nestled in the rail. SCORE!!! :D

I love that Solanah wears ankle socks with her day dresses so I added some to my outfit. I also love the navy & mustard combination so I threw on one of my many Cardi's and I was good to go.

I have always bounced around when it comes to styles, I don't like to be pigeon holed, I really like all the different eras & I love having the choice.

Who knows next week I might be in a floor length psychedelic 70's dress :)

Have a great weekend.

Lazy-ish day in a Floral dress

Hi there,
How are we?
So here is another outfit post and kind a lazy one!

On Saturday I didn't actually feel like getting dressed but I threw on my vintage 80's floral dress, my green cardi from Primark & added my accessories which I think came together quite well.

I love the floral print on this dress, there are so many colors in it matching it with other items in my wardrobe is so easy. I guess that's why it's my go to dress when I am feeling lazy.

I paired it with my brooch from Cancer research, a bargain at 50p

and my Accessorize Moustache that I recently purchased

Then I scooped my hair up in a bun & went out with Mr Berto :)

I like having these outfits to just throw on when I don't feel like making an effort, I think having them readily available stops me from grabbing my jeans and hoodie like I used to.

So what is your go to outfit when you're feeling lazy?

Ciao for now
